Children will need:
- Wellies
- Pumps
Nursery uniform:
We like to feel that we are part of the school, so we ask that they wear the following uniform:
- Grey trousers or skirt or pinafore
- Red polo shirts
- Red jumper or cardigan
- Black shoes
Please could you ensure that all items are clearly named so that we can make sure that your child comes home in the correct clothing.
Curriculum in Early Years
In Nursery we use the Development Matters document to plan our curriculum.
The curriculum is divided into 7 areas of learning, which are separated into 17 aspects.

During the year, the children will learn through either adult led tasks or child-initiated play.
Our topics will be:
Autumn 1: All about me
Autumn 2: Celebrations
Spring 1: People who help us
Spring 2: Traditional and Fairy tales
Summer 1: Superheroes
Summer 2: Holidays
P.E will take place on Wednesday and Friday morning. We will also be having an extra P.E. session on a Monday morning, being delivered by the outside agency Sports Plus, during Autumn 1.
The children will not be changing for P.E. they will just be taking off their jumper or cardigan and changing into their pumps.
If your child wears earrings, please can you ensure that they are taken out for the P.E. sessions.
